N: Glass fiber self-adhesive tape is an ideal material for joint treatment. Its main functions include:
Anti-crack reinforcement: high tensile strength (≥100N/cm) effectively disperses joint stress and prevents cracking;
Self-adhesive design: pre-coated with pressure-sensitive adhesive on the back, easy to apply after tearing;
Alkali resistance: passed EN 13658 test and can withstand high alkaline environment of cement mortar (pH≤13).
N: Installation steps:
Apply adhesive to the corners;
Press the corner guard into place, ensuring it is vertical or horizontal;
Use a spatula to cover the corner guard with putty, with a thickness of 2-3mm;
Sand it flat after drying.
Curved wall: You can use flexible corner guards (such as PVC material) to adapt to curved walls with a curvature radius of ≥50mm.
N:Paper tape: suitable for the initial fixation of drywall joints, with a smooth surface that is easy to polish, but with low tensile strength (about 30N/cm);
Fiberglass tape: suitable for high-stress areas (such as ceiling joints and wall corners), with stronger crack resistance and better water resistance;
Selection suggestions:
Low-stress areas: paper tape (such as indoor partitions);
High-stress areas: fiberglass tape (such as exterior wall joints and gypsum board joints).
N：Niumaterial recommend opting for Western Union, as it offers a more favorable handling fee. However, for new clients, we currently only accept payments through 50% T/T. On the other hand, if you have been a long-standing customer and are experiencing financial constraints, we offer the option of OA credit.
N: Water resistance: The fiberglass tape has passed the EN 12467 water resistance test and can be used in humid environments for a long time;
Mold resistance: The surface has been treated with mold resistance to inhibit mold growth;
N：It depends on whether you need customization, if you don’t need customization and we have stock, we can ship it within 7 days, if you need customization, it will take 7~15 days!
After shipment, you will generally receive the goods in about 45 days, but the specific time to receive the goods depends on your port, delivery date, customs clearance time, etc.
N:Small cracks: Use quick-drying repair paste to fill and smooth directly;
Large holes:
Clean the edges of the holes to ensure there are no loose objects;
Fill with repair mortar (thickness > 10mm requires layered construction);
Cover the surface with fiberglass tape to enhance crack resistance;
Finally, use putty to level and polish.
Repair range: Applicable to holes with a diameter of ≤15cm or cracks with a width of ≤5mm. hollowing, which can significantly reduce the risk of cracking in the joints.
